One of baseballs most like players of all times was born in Greenville, Shoeless Joe Jackson. His career made him one of the best players of his time and a legend.

The Up State honored Shoeless Joe Jackson with a Memorial Park, and the Shoeless Joe Jackson Plaza Statue located in Fountain Inn, SC at the historic West End of the city.
