Rates legal Process Service

All fees are flat rates. Process Serving attempts will be made at times that will be most appropriate to catch the subject person or persons at home or work. with three attempts of service. 

Greenville County:            $55.00 three attempts:                 Plus.00 per mile in-side Greenville County.

All Other Counties  with-in the state of South Carolina:    $55.00 three attempts       Plus .40 per mile

Private Investigations Service Rates:   $65.00 per-hour Plus mileage outside Greenville, County

All measures of attempts are made to serve subject person or persons. In the event that it could take more than three attempts there could be additional fees charged.

 In the event that there is a need to serve subject person or persons in 24 hours or less there will be a fee to match the task.   ( This additional fee is added on a case by case order of request )

In some instance there maybe the need to have surveillance to serve the subject person or persons or standard surveillance. This type of surveillance is the standard rates charge of $65.00 per first hour. After the first hour of normal service rate is $55.00 per hour there after, With  the Attorneys or Clients that retains the services of  D. G. Hammett Investigation approval.

Service outside the counties listed or over night travel, rates are adjusted to the travel and lodging expenses and will be quoted on a case by case basis. With  the Attorneys or Clients that retains the services of  D G. Hammett Investigation approval.


Payment for service terms are 30 days net for local upstate Attorneys only. Check for payment in full must be
attached when civil process are picked up, or mailed. Private Parties or none affiliated Attorneys will post a retainer fee at the time of agreement of retaining the services of  D. G. Hammett Investigation.
